The Blame Game of Democrats

I was watching Hannity and Colmes tonight as I do most nights with my dad. They were speaking with former speaker of the house Newt Gingrich. They were discussing Obama's comment when he said that American soldiers are killing innocent civilians by bombing villages needlessly. Personally right off that bat, I don't think a man should be commander in chief when he disrespects America's fighting force in such a manor. Now this was the view point shared by both Newt Gingrich and Sean Hannity. However as usual, Allan Colmes had to open his mouth and say something that made no sense in any way. He made the argument that John McCain accused the troops of this when he warned of a current tactic being used by the military. The air force was flying higher than they should have been when on bombing runs and were therefor not as accurate in their bombings. Senator McCain warned that civilians could be killed if the military did not start flying lower so they could therefor be more accurate. Allan Colmes turned this into an attack on McCain accusing him of saying the military was killing innocent civilians. However it is clear that McCain was not accusing the armed forces of killing civilians, but was warning that by using the current tactic civilians could be killed in the process.

This is a classic example of the liberal way of bending the truth and taking quotes out of context. I am always entertained when watching Mr. Colmes try to defend against an attack of someone he is interviewing. This is a great show to watch if you would like to get both sides of an issue. It is on every week night from 9-10 ET on the Fox news channel.

Hey Jonathan ... let me be the first to say job well done. Your thoughts are articulate and well written. I am very proud of the man you are becoming. Always stand by your convictions ... especially when confronted by artificial intelligence (the liberal left). Keep up the writing as I am looking forward to reading more.

Great expression of your thoughts and opinions.
Can't wait to see what else you tackle...should we expect writings on Canadian politics as well?

We love to follow politic in our household - both US and Canadian.

To play "The Blame Game"... one must take a lot of freedom in stretching the truth and misrepresenting the facts and situations.

Way to go Jonathan... it's great to see young people who want to hear "the rest of the story"!
